What a great weekend! Thanks to everyone at Central Standard Records for helping to roll out the 2d Man EP so smoothly, and thanks to everyone out there that downloaded it! (Hopefully, some of you come back to check out the blog every now and again.)
Within the next few weeks, I should have a track or two up here to preview the next release…it’ll be one that stretches the definition of “EP” a little bit (which, per wikipedia: “contains more music than a single, but is too short to qualify as an LP“) as it’ll likely stretch to the 25-30 minute mark. I should just go ahead and call it an album (or, “LP“) but I just don’t want to commit to that at the moment, seeing as the EP’s due by the end of the month (-ish) and I want to make sure the entire thing’s quality…I have about 8 tracks about done for it, and about 2-3 more in the pipeline, so there will likely be a few cuts in what I use.
OH, and speaking of the new EP, my good friend Mr. Grant has graciously provided some cover art….and it’s awesome, and it’s only the initial design, AND I smile ear-to-ear everytime I see it. Because of this, I’ll go ahead and post it below, for those not in the know, the design is a riff off of my usual Cyberman helmet, and the popular superhero deconstruction comic, MiracleMan. I have this on pretty good authority that it’s going to be gangbusters…
